Yaoi-Con 2009 | A Celebration of Male Beauty & Passion in Anime & Manga

Whether you want to put together a discussion group or art panel, sold your soul to cosplay or Ball-Jointed Dolls, want to share the history of Boy's Love or debate the future of the genre; no topic is too great or too small!

Dust off your glasses, unlock your inner professor, and get started on brainstorming your panel for 2009!

*NOTE: Industry representatives wanting to request a panel to announce new titles or set up a focus panel for a special guest you've invited also need submit a form to ensure we have a record of your request.

Please note: It may be 1-2 months before you receive panel approval. 
Approval emails are batched together rather than sent one-by-one. 
Please don't hesitate to email us if you have any changes in your
panel submission during that period.

After giving your all for the bishounen at the Valentine's Auction, you have to give them the chance to reciprocate, yes? And trust me, we WANT to reciprocate. We have so many delicious, wonderful presents and -- dramatic sigh -- no one to give them to!

Everyone loves Bingo! Aaaand . . . everyone loves Bishounen, right?  So what could be better than putting the two together?!?  After opening ceremonies, the boys take the stage and the balls keep on rolling until the last prize is gone!

When the sun goes down, the clothes come off!  So bust out your mojo bags, hunker down with your ultra professional stamper (don't worry, we promise not to tease you if you have a pen instead), and practice your telekinetic powers on the lady with her hand on the crank!

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, but if you just can't take the separation from your precious loving system(s) any more, we will have a fine plethora of games set up to take that edge off.

This year our game room is once again being run by Gamers for Hire.

Stop in to admire some pixilated man-flesh, blow off some steam, or just bask in the warm and loving glow of the screen.  Don't worry, the console waiting so diligently and trustingly for your return will never have to know. . . .

The quiet atmosphere, the smell of books . . . the shelves upon shelves of beautiful boys exploring their inner contortionist in a sea of questionable fluids. . . .  Just like the libraries that sucked the soul straight out through your eyes in all those younger days!

In a tradition now seven years running, Yaoi-Con lets you explore your deep dark fantasies of being a Flea-Market entrepreneur at the Swap Meet while building up some funds for the shopping spree in the Dealer’s Room. Friends and family accidentally bought duplicate manga? Fell out of love with a series and want to make room for your new illicit love affair? Whatever the reason, bring in those old manga or doujinshi and get ready to haggle! But please, limit your offerings to new or used commercial items (imported doujinshi are also okay).

Details about location, time and payment will be made available closer to the convention.

*NOTE: Live pornography, anime/music/scanlations made into VCD/DVD/CD, photocopies of manga or doujinshi are not allowed to be sold. Yaoi-Con reserves the right to have our staff ask participants to remove items considered not suitable for sale at the Swap Meet.
