Waiting List: If all tables have been reserved when you apply, your name will be placed on a waiting list. If Fan Market space opens up due to cancellation or other reasons, then prospective Vendors will be informed of the table availability in the order of their names on the waiting list. Your name on the waiting list is merely for informational purposes and does not constitute a contract or an obligation; however, we would appreciate a reply back within 48 hours so that, if you have made other plans we can contact the next person on the list. Tables and Badge Information Depending on table size purchased, table size is either approximately 3' x 3' (half table) or 6' x 3' (full table). One chair per half-table will be provided. Options and Fees Cost: $25.00 (US) for one (1) 3'x3' halved table or $50.00 (US) for one (1) 6'X3' entire table for the Saturday and Sunday of the convention weekend. We will not be selling table space for single days. Please note, half-tables are just that: a half a table, not a separate smaller table. Considerations The Fan Market will be located in the Centennial Ballroom Pre-Function and Foyer areas, just outside of the Centennial Ballroom, which will serve as Dealers' Room and Main Events room. THIS IS AN OPEN, NON-SECURE AREA, but offers prime exposure to con attendees. Fan Market Table purchase does not include badge; vendor(s) must be a registered Yaoi-Con attendee. Products sold must be manufactured by the fan vendor. No commercial products are allowed. Vendors are responsible for breakdown of their table(s) at the end of each day's operating hours. Fan Market Hours Saturday (October 13) Setup: 8:00am to 9:00am* Open Hours: 9:00am to 6:00pm Sunday (October 14) Setup: 9:00am to 10:00am Open Hours: 10:00am to 5:00pm * If a Vendor does not appear by 9:00am on Saturday, that Vendor will be considered a "no-show" and their table will be given to a wait listed attendee. California Temporary Sellers Permit All Fan Market Vendors MUST obtain a State of California Temporary Sellers Permit and must have it in-hand for the duration of the convention. You may apply for the permit via the State of California Bureau of Equalization website: http://www.boe.ca.gov/pdf/boe410d.pdf Badges Badges are not included with the Fan Market booths. You MUST pre-register onsite and have a valid convention badge in order to purchase and utilize booth space in our Fan Market. Yaoi-Con reserves the right to deny access to all convention areas to any person or persons whose names appear on our banned individuals list. No one will be allowed into the Convention Area without a badge. Cost and Payment Table size is 6' x 3'. Fan Market table includes the table, table cloth, and 2 chairs. Refunds Payment is non-refundable after October 1, 2012, even if the vendor cancels the table after this date or fails to appear at the time of the convention. ***If you are still waiting for your permit information please email fm[at]yaoicon.com as soon as you have it.
