Please note that the convention has already addressed any complaints and issues from last year submitted to us via the Post-Con Feedback Survey with the hotel and the hotel has promised to resolve as many of them as possible. The convention is also working towards improving any deficiencies from last year and really do appreciate all the helpful feedback we received. ^^ ROOM RATES & RESERVATIONS Special Convention Room Rates are as follows:

If you have any questions or problems with your reservations, please contact the Convention Director: [ CONTACT ] ALTERNATIVE HOTELS/LODGING* Below is a list of possible alternative hotels if you are unable to secure space at the convention hotel. Some of these may provide shuttle service from/to San Francisco International Airport; please check with the hotels in advance as to times and location. Please note that there will NOT be transportation provided between any of these hotels and the convention hotel. However, a taxicab will run around $7.00 to/from most of these hotels. The Howard Johnson is within walking distance, but the other hotels are not, as they are across the highway.
Parking for Hotel Guests: Discounted parking for overnight parking is $8/day for Hotel Guests. This DOES include in-and-out privileges. Parking for Non-Hotel Guests/Daily Attendees: Attendees attending the event (non-hotel guests) will pay $1/hr for maximum of $6/day. There are no in-and-out privileges - that is, if you stay for 2 hrs, you pay $2 upon leaving the parking lot; if you return and leave again, you will pay the hourly rate again for however long your vehicle was parked since your return. Transportation from San Francisco Airport: HOTEL SHUTTLE The Marriott San Mateo-San Francisco Airport Hotel will again be offering complimentary shuttle service from and to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on a limited schedule. Shuttle schedule will be posted soon. TAXI If you do not want to wait for a shuttle, you may need to take a taxicab from the airport to the hotel. Taxi fares from SFO to San Mateo are approximately $24.00 (rate as of March 22, 2009). CALTRANS Hayward Park station is located 0.7 miles from the Marriott Hotel OR San Mateo station is located 1.9 miles from the Marriott Hotel SAMTRANS Bus Line Closest to Hotel: Route 292 Hotel Stop: Delaware Blvd & Concar Dr. Northbound Stop (To Downtown San Mateo & San Francisco Mission & 1st St.) Southbound Stop (To Hillsdale Shopping Center) If unsure of where to get off for certain stops closest to your destination, ask the Operator to announce your stop and they will announce the stop once the bus is close by. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) There are no BART stations located in San Mateo; however, you may take BART into SFO and catch a hotel shuttle to the Marriott.
