| About San Francisco |
|
Located in north central California, along the Pacific coast, San Francisco is a beautiful city with many interesting things to see and do. You could easily spend a week here and want to stay for much longer. For those who have never been to San Francisco, please remember that evenings tend to be quite cool, and a jacket or sweater is a nice thing to have. Monterey Peninsula and Big Sur to the south, Marin County to the north, and the wine producing Napa and Sonoma valleys to the north are all within reasonable driving distance of the city. For good descriptions of the sights, sounds and services San Francisco offers, please visit:

If you plan on traveling outside of the city proper, north to wine country, south to Silicon Valley or the Monterey Peninsula, you will need a car.
