it is a med. sized convention, depending on which ones you go to. there is a lot of swag, some tees (though not so much from the con itself--however that may change) The con tried to sell some shirts the first few years but they didnt sell as well (timing issues) Doujinshi aplenty, last year there was a mad amount of Nauruto stuff. You want to go to both the cosplay and the bishie auction (auction line first-trust me
. the program will come two or so months before the con, give or take. Japan town (in San Fran-- a good reason to come a day or to before/after the actual con) and the market are good places to get new stuff (many in japanese) and there most likely will be forums with various publishers. If you cant wait, some of the links and banners on this sight can get you started. Just a tip, keep a list of the books you have and the books you buy so you dont get doubles (this has happened to me twice)

but there still a long time before the con. How many more are we willing to have? a max of 4? How many can stay under hotel rules? Also does anyone know around what food costs might be? Is there food at the hotel or around the hotel i.e. walking distance? Just some things I was thinking about. If the room has a fridge I can maybe bring some food or at least have meals availible. Thanks!
