I'm actually very curious about it. Is this an event at Yaoi-Con? If not, has anyone actually brought up the idea of it?

I do know it's a very, very popular event at a few of the other conventions that I attend. I would like to see it at Yaoi-Con in the future. This game is a lot of fun and it gets people to interact.

Cosplay Chess is very fun. I participated as the Black Queen at Sakura-Con 2008. I had such a blast.

Hmmm... well the thing that prevents it from being totally practical at Yaoi-con would probably be a limitation of space. There are no areas, other than the main ballroom area, which have very large amounts of floorspace and absolutely no areas with overlooks (which are a good idea, though not totally necessary, for cosplay chess).
