Yaoi-Con 2008 | A Celebration of Male Beauty & Passion in Anime & Manga

I'm planning a cosplay next year where the character has leg wrapping similar to Sasuke Uchiha. I've thought about using regular bandage tape, but I'm afraid the tape will fall loose. How do you all handle that? Any advice?

I had the most trouble with that actually, I cosplayed him at two different cons and both times trying to get the top have wrapped up AND it stay put failed me... So I'm sort of not helpful at the moment... but blue painters tape could work.I haven't yet tried it on my legs but when I taped up my boobs on a trial run of making sure I could actually do it (they are big...) the tape stuck. Regular tape didn't go over so well neither did masking tape that I painted blue or the scotch.

I had a major dilemma with this when I was first putting my Kakashi cosplay together. I have to tape not only my legs, but my arms as well since I have quite a few tattoos. The BEST answer, white ace bandages... They are nearly impossible to find, but try eBay, I have had immense luck with finding them in lots of a dozen or more on there. Regular tape, or medical tape tends to bunch funny and ends up all wrinkly... poo! >.<! AND since they are re-usable, you don't have to buy new tape every singe time you cos, woot! ^_^ Here's an image of my cos, it's pretty big so you can kind of tell how the bandages sit, nicely conforming to the legs.... Hope this helps!

oooo, awesome Kakashi! yeh, I've only seen the light brown bandages. I'll check ebay, thanks for the suggestion!
