Since we need to use our ID to pick up the badge, does that mean our badge name should be the same on our ID?

No. Just make sure the field that says "First Name" and "Last Name" on the online registration form has the same exact name as it does on the photo ID you'll be using to register and pick up your badge on site. "Badge Name" is what will be printed on your badge.
