Oh, I'm not all that versed in Roy Orbison. I just think Hosokawa Takashi looks like him for some reason. (Then again I was always confusing Roy Orbison and Don Ho, so what do I know. @^^@) But from what little I know, they seem to have kind of similar styles.

Red & White Song Competition!!! *hearts* I love Kohaku! It's top of cool, man! I just love the whole idea and wish I had NHK where I live so I wouldn't have to rent some yakuza dude's recorded copy every year. < I've heard some Teresa Teng, but I'm not familiar with Korean enka. Any recommendations?

Oh, I know! Those hometown songs make me tear up. I wish I could learn. Kiyoshi started in a high school enka club, apparently. Totally jealous.

Dude o.o Enka Karaoke sounds like tons of fun... But I don't want to be the cause of others' bleeding ears... T_T
