We've received reports that some are having problems making reservations via the toll free number for the Westin Hotel, such as being told that all rooms are sold out for the convention.

Please note that if the convention hotels sell out, we will announce that they are sold out here on this website and in our various communities.

Also, as a reminder, please indicate that you are with the Y-Con Japanese Anime Convention group. This way you should be able to receive the convention rate.

when I made my reservation, the receptionist said I got the last 2 double-bed room for the weekend of YaoiCon.
That was a few days ago.

Could you email Susan, Yaoi-Con's director, at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and let her know this? She may have to call the hotel and have them release more rooms to the room block.

Let her know just which hotel it was that you reserved at, too, if you don't mind.... ^^

I contacted Imelda Flores at the Westin today and I was told that there are no more rooms available. I sent Susan a message about it.

Yes, I think they were fully booked as of today, I believe. I'm not sure if they'll be able to release anymore rooms to the con. Sorry about that!
