Hello!
I've been wanting to go to YaoiCon for years, and although my ride dropped out on me, I still might be able to go for the day. I am (obviously) over eighteen, but I have a bit of a problem with proving that...
That is, I have no driver's license or permit (I'm not driving yet), no passport (I've never been out of the country), and a state photo ID takes a really long time for our county to process, so there's no way I could get one by Saturday when I'm hoping to go.
I was wondering, what other forms of ID would you accept? I feel really bad that I don't have any of the normal forms of ID, but I've only been eighteen since March and thusfar I haven't needed an ID for anything I've done.
I have my college photo ID card (which has no birthday on it), my Wildlife Rehabilitator license card (which, again, lacks a birthday, though you need to be eighteen to get one), and I could theoretically bring my birth certificate (either the real one or a copy of it), but I'm not sure if you'd accept that.
So...um, any ideas what I could bring to prove my age? Would my birth certificate and my college and wildlife rehabber IDs be all right (which both have photos)? Or is there something else I could bring?
HELP!
