Hmmm... in clarification, Yaoi-con is not a "cosplay event." It's a Yaoi-con. There's certainly tons of cosplay at it but unless you're a Yaoi fan, there may very well be more palatable events for you to cosplay at (such as, if you're in the Bay Area, JTAF or AOD or Fanime). We do lots of other things, though, such as the panels that Bazu mentioned, Bishie Bingo (like bingo, but with pretty boys stripping for the fans), the Bishounen Auction (Three parts bachelor auction, one part chippendales, one part Rocky Horror), numerous panels and meetups (for Dollfies, various specific popular Yaoi titles, artist Q/A, etc).
I apologize if I'm looking like I'm trying to dissuade you from coming to Yaoi-con. It just didn't appear that you had a very accurate impression of what happens here. ^^:
