But, then, I was the lit person who helped the other lit people with their math homework.

From another stance, also, whenever I make any prop, I -always- do the math of what angles I need, volume, etc. (I don't sew as much, but if I could sew well, I'd do it then too!). Not only does it have the effect of making your props sturdier and better-looking, but it can also save you work in the long-run.
