Yaoi-Con 2008 | A Celebration of Male Beauty & Passion in Anime & Manga

I know the girl in question who people are trying to accuse of yelling...Uh...no. last year she wasn't yelling either. She is one of the few people on staff who knows how to correctly project her voice, to cut over the noise of a large crowd. So yep, your going to hear her. Is she yelling, nope. (Otherwise she would have had no voice by Sunday night).

Tea really should be an hour seating. Because shovelling food isn't fun. I love tea, and why I had such a big group with me. (I was Lucius Malfoy, controlling the Malfoy table).

I also think combining smaller groups into a bigger table is a good idea. We had three different servers to entertain us, so a variety to suit the variety of people at the table. The shy people talked to the shyer bishies, the loud ones of us, talked to the loud ones. It's yaoi-con, it's about making new friends, so sitting with strangers means you make more friends by the end of the tea. I think it would also take the stress off the bishies more. One of the three handled orginizing, another fetching stuff, while the third focused on serving. They rotated the roles and did what each was best suited for, and it worked out lovely. I expect to return next year to the cafe...and most likely with an even bigger group.

I didn't like the delay as I had staff members at my table and the chaos of that was horrid. I was happy to see the staff of the cafe trying to help out with the chaos of my table and staff issues.
