YOU’VE GOT TO MAKE MONEY TO SPEND MONEY!
Got a pile of old doujinshi cluttering up your room? Manga you’ll never read again stacked up to the ceiling? Creative crafts to sell but no table in the Dealer’s Room? Come hawk your wares at the Swap Meet! This is a great opportunity to earn some extra dough so you can turn around and spend even MORE money at the con!
Cost is $10 per HALF table. You may line up at 3:00 (no earlier) in the Westin outside the Dealers' Room to pay for tables. We will begin selling tables at 3:15 and the actual Swap Meet will run from 3:30-5:30. Tables go super fast so get there early to nab your spot!
AUTHOR MEET AND GREET!
Author Ben Nugent will be available onsite outside the registration room all weekend to interview people for his upcoming book about American subcultures, entitled 'American Nerd: The Story of My People'. If you feel like chatting with him, look for his sign and stop by. Maybe your geekiest moments will one day be in print!
SIT, SIP, OGLE!
The lovelies of Café Verführen are waiting for you to join in on the drama and fun! Yaoi Con 2006 and the members of Project Man-Maid cordially invite you to be our guest as you interact with the bishounen of Café Verführen. Set in the style of Japanese “Butler” or “Boy” cafes, Verführen features an all-female cast immersed into the parts of various bishounen-esque characters. Relax and savor your refreshment as you join our staff and revel in their flirtations and cat fights. For a small charge you may choose who you wish to interact. Then just sit back and enjoy the show!
