I'm sorry your email didn't get prompt attention -- like many cons, we had staffing turnover in between conventions. This does sometimes lead to emails sitting unread until the new staffer is up to speed. Always check the Web site first for info -- if it's not there, then contact the appropriate staffer to see when it'll be available.
I emailed three staff members. Susan first because she's labeled as being in charge of the artists alley and I'd assumed the fan market was associated with that. A second email was sent to her a week later from one of my partners with the same question. That day I found out that Tracy was in charge of the fan market and so I emailed her and posted to the forum. Two weeks later I was frustraited by the lack of response from anyone and so I contacted Wendy.
I'm confused as to why *three* apparently key staff members have ignored my emails. Are these members no longer with you? And if they aren't, why are their names still on the current contact info?
Jibii,
I assure you that Susan specifically is not ignoring emails. She just happens to be extremeley busy trying to smooth out stuff for ToA and then Yaoi-Con after that. Not to mention the fact that she is now trying to organize for at least two other sections of the convention while she finds staff members to. I just recently got an email back from her myself.
