Nice observation. Yes...Horyu from 'Our Everlasting'. Happens to be my favorite Manga. I tend to be drawn into romantic style storylines, than anything that deals with selling or treating others like slaves. Not my style. Plus...'Neko' stuff does nothing for me.

I also use Tokunaga Shouin as my Myspace name. I happen to be very much like the two of them...but my partner happens to use this name on his Myspace profile. He continues to call me Shouin every time we are together and talk on the phone.

Ive spent the majority of my life here on the Island. One of the things I regret doing for so long. Everytime I have traveled outside of long Island...I've longed to remain at my vacation spot. My future plans are to live in Estes Park...heading up to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

I was once asked if I could give up the sea and live up in the Mountains instead. My response was simple.

Yes. I truly have no fears and after standing at a cliff point nearly 7,000 above sea level, in -20 temperatures with snow falling around me...I never wanted to return to Long Island again.

Living here...one needs to be socially acceptable...wealthy beyond means and a happy go lucky tourist. I do not fit in any of the three...so I tend to remain here in my home..wondering if LI will ever be the once affordable Island I knew as a child.

So far...that's wishful thinking. I'll be out of here soon. The Mountains are lovelier anyways. The pollution level is nearly non-existent...and it's Winter 8 months out of the year...and at times...2-3 months out of the year...one is snowbound.

Yay! Snowboarding for 8 months...and then...I can skateboard when it melts.
