This may be a dumb question, but did you take your screen name on here from the character in the Our Everlasting manga? (Loved that manga - loved that character too) If you did, it seems like it's fitting considering you and the charater share a love of the ocean, based on your previous post to ViiRYiiS.

I've never been to Fire Island, or the Hamptons either for that matter (except for one time by accident - was on the way to go fishing out east and took a wrong turn - got stuck in traffic on the main drag in Southhampton in my friend's beat up 1972 Chevy Nova while blasting Guns N' Roses - that was an interesting experience). I don't really do the whole trendy social scene on Long Island, to be honest. But I like the beach (I now live not too far from Long Beach myself) and you're right, the pollution situation is getting ridiculous.
