Yaoi-Con 2008 | A Celebration of Male Beauty & Passion in Anime & Manga

Well getting in early to do the things we want out in town is great, if you can find TIME to do it. A LOT of us are students at universities and have a hard enough time finding the time to go to the con let alone finding extra days to go shopping! Time doesn't grow on trees, although, I really wish it did! My friend was lucky, she's only taking one class this semester and had a friend who tapes the classes every day. She just got the class tapes from her friend for the lectures she has missed. I'm not so lucky, I took more time off than I probably should have (to go shopping because I KNOW the location of the con fucking sucks) and now I'm paying for it. However, I HAD to take those extra days to go shopping because i KNEW I wouldn't be able to do the shopping I needed to do while con was going on. The fact of the matter is, I'm a Japanese major and I get some REALLY good study aids from the bookstore in Japan town, as well as some other essential things for class...in other words I NEED time to go shopping in Japan town but often times I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY pushing my teacher's patience with how many days I HAVE to take because the con is too far away from Japan town. I have one teacher who won’t fucking let it go that I missed two days of her fucking class <<; and that was just an ART class…
