Well, I really am rotten at these introduction things but, I suppose that's a great first line for an introduction.
Most people call me Shadow but my real name is Michael. Long story about the nickname but I answer to both. Then again, there are far too many Michael's in the world and far fewer Shadows so...it all works out in the end.
This is going to be my first Yaoi-Con and I'm a little nervouse but pretty much terribly excited. (my two female friends have vowed to try and find me a boyfriend there so that's why I'm nervous
hock: ) I just recently got into reading/watching Yoai which all started with Kizuna and then Gravitation and then Fake and...well you get the picture. God help my credit card once I hit the dealer's room *shudder*.
I was really glad to see that there are some other fanboys out there because I kinda figured that it was going to be mostly women at the con. I'm sort of shy when first meeting folks but once I feel a bit more comfortable then I'm not sucha bad buy
. That goes for both sexes but I'm usually more fumbly with words around guys (specially the cute ones). Not that I have a problem with women but...just not my bag baby.
Um...ack, I'm babbling but if you see a 6'4" guy wandering the con and shout out "Hey Shadow", I'm sure I'll turn around to see who it was
Um, what do I like? Well I work in the coffee trade so I love coffee, I'm a comic book dork but only for a few select titles, I used to work in theatre and I miss acting, I haven't played guitar in forever but I like singing and making music, and I watch far too many movies and play too much on my PS2 and Gamecube. AND..I get the feeling I'm gonna be the oldest fanboy there....*le sigh*.
